Streetwise was appointed by Peter Brett Associates, acting on behalf of Brighton and Hove City Council, to undertake a large scale automatic traffic count and speed survey around the city authority area. This is part of an ongoing longitudinal survey to assess changes in flows and speeds throughout the area.
In total 54 sites were surveyed concurrently, for a duration of 7-days. A variety of road types were encountered from high volume urban dual carriageways to lightly trafficked residential streets. Sites were installed, maintained, and retrieved by our fully accredited site technicians, and data supplied electronically to our head office for post- survey processing.
Due to the specific requirement of BHCC data was provided in .dmp format for inclusion in VDA Pro database as well as our standard in-house spreadsheet format.
