To getting the most out of valuable resources reliable, accurate, and up to date information is key.
We regularly assist local and roads authorities by supporting their asset inventory programmes with detailed capture of road related assets. This can be done through video GPS and/or detailed walked surveys to provide a complete asset Inventory which acts as the foundations of a Roads Asset Management Plan.
The assets captured can also be condition rated and then subsequently given a value; this valuation is then used to provide a “Whole Life Asset Cost” and provide key valuation data for the development of a Network Valuation Figure. This is typically provided as a GIS layer to allow for future-proofing of data and we can assist clients in incorporating this data into existing systems.
