The growing trend toward making use of existing datasets was hugely boosted by the need for valid data during the COVID pandemic.
As a result of this, Streetwise has mapped all current (within last 3 years) count projects and made this portal available to all of our clients. Where client survey needs match existing count sites we will liaise between the data owners (the original commissioning party) and requestors to facilitate access to this data. By using this portal, in 2020 our clients across the UK were able to access data for scores of count sites, moving forward projects which would otherwise have stalled. Although the immediate need recedes as primary data collection becomes possible once again this will remain a valuable data source for our clients.
