Managing space at trip ends has become one of the most important elements of transport planning to manage increases in private car usage.
We have developed a unique method of capturing parking activity which has a host of benefits over other methods. All information is captured on a mapping base, with vehicles plotted exactly where they are on the network for each survey ‘beat’, leading to efficiencies on site and scope for enhanced data outputs.
Post-survey, key indicators of occupancy, turnover, and duration of stay can be heat mapped in addition to tabular and graph outputs. For non-technical decision makers these images provide a much easier to interpret impression of parking activity, adding value to our survey results.
