Journey time information is an input and calibration tool for traffic models.
Traditionally, this information has been provided using in-car data collection under the floating vehicle method with the collection of timing points through GPS logging. Whilst this type of survey is still sometimes required, we can now provide historical journey time data across any route in the UK or beyond. We can deliver this through our unique partnership with TomTom. These data offer a number of benefits in terms of scale / depth of data, unit costs, and carbon reduction compared to primary data collection.
