Key Staff

Nick O'Neil

Founder

Nick is the founder of Streetwise and consults across the company. Nick started his data journey in Local Government back in 1992, then moved to a national data collection company in 2000, before starting Streetwise in 2007. Nick has a wealth of experience in survey practices and is still takes an active role in site work. He has an MSc in Transport Planning and Engineering and regularly presents on survey techniques at seminars and conferences.

Outside of Streetwise, Nick is an avid cook and wine connoisseur (he knows his Bordeaux from his claret!), which helps dull down the results of his football team.

Fraser Menzies

Commercial Director

Fraser is Commercial Director of Streetwise with primary responsibility for tendering and bid opportunities. He brings 20+ years of industry experience, has an MSc in Transport Planning and Engineering, is a Prince2 Practitioner and holds a NEBOSH National General Certificate in H&S. He often provides advice to clients on survey best practice and hosts the Surveys session on behalf of PTRC for their transport Lecture Series.

When not working, Fraser is a dad to two little ‘uns (and a Setter double doodle). An armchair rugby aficionado he impatiently awaits the next Scottish Grand Slam. A lazy Munro bagger, Fraser prefers ‘sports’ that offer minimal cardio workout – current couch to 5k PB is week 5!

Gary Nulty

Technical Director

Gary is Technical Director of Streetwise with primary responsibility for the technical aspects of data capture from survey automation to bespoke processing. He brings 20 years of GIS & Project Management experience across different industries. He has a BSc in Facilities Management and is Prince 2 accredited.

In his spare time, Gary can usually be found in his garage upcycling junk, or in the kitchen perfecting his pizza dough. An amateur fisherman, his next plan is to master coastal foraging and to attempt to get his kids to agree to a bushcraft camping trip.

Colin Gordon

Operations Manager

Colin is the Operations Manager for Streetwise and responsible for all things fieldwork related. He oversees Streetwise' four operational site depots and staff. He brings 16+ years of industry experience and has gained Prince2 and IOSH qualifications in Project Management and H&S respectively.

When not working, Colin's two young kids keep him occupied most of the time. When he does get some free time he's been known to embarrass himself in a variety of sports such as Football, Open Water Swimming and Cycling. He is also a lover of pretentious food, drink, film and music.

Michael Caughey

Data Manager

Michael currently heads our GIS & Data Processing team as Data Manager, having held various roles over more than 10 years with Streetwise. Michael has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, and has undertaken vocational training in supervisory skills, GIS and Excel. He also serves as internal Quality Manager for the company liaising with consultants to maintain Streetwise ISO 9001 accreditation.

In his spare time, Michael is a keen cyclist and Crossfitter. He is huge sports fan, especially football (both soccer & American). A bit of a movie and TV geek, and hopes to one day complete Netflix. Michael has started learning Spanish.

Thanos Papageorgiou

Information Analyst

Athanasios is an Information Analyst at Streetwise. He is primarily responsible for auditing data reports, liaising with clients and designing bespoke reports.

Athanasios holds an MSc in Economic and Financial Analysis from Manchester Metropolitan University. He specialises in quantitative modelling and data analysis and presentation. He maintains an interest in keeping up with the latest industry trends and has completed the PTRC Evening Lecture Series in Traffic and Transportation and a Certified GDPR Foundation Course.

When not working, you will find Athanasios in the kitchen experimenting with something new! He is a big fan of the Mediterranean cuisine and his inspiration comes mostly from his home country, Greece. After all, you can never go wrong with some extra olive oil!
